I design and build custom information systems, most often for the financial sector. I also develop my own platform, Arinas, the accounting app Účtovníctvo online and the eFaktúra service.

a software development platform
In Arinas, a program is a tree of modules, and that tree is also the architecture of the application. The architecture becomes visible, and you can walk through it and change it. This lets me adapt an existing solution quickly, and I often create a new one by transforming an existing one.
accounting for non-accountants
Double-entry bookkeeping in the browser, built on Arinas. Since October 2026 the first company has been using it in production, and two or three more will join by the end of the year. If you would like to be one of them, get in touch.
From 1 January 2027, VAT payers in Slovakia will issue and receive invoices only electronically, through the Peppol network. Anyone who is invoiced by a VAT payer will also need to be able to receive e-invoices.
As an intermediary, I connect you to the network through a certified provider. Users of Účtovníctvo online have one worry less: eFaktúra is built right into the program. If you use other software, I can build the connection.

A 30-year-old project brought into a modern form while keeping what was most valuable about it: ease of use. I converted the original 110,000 lines of code into a working application on the Arinas platform in 8 days.

My name is Ľudovít Lučenič. I have worked as a business and software analyst, programmer, development team lead and software architect, on small applications as well as nationwide systems.
More than ten years ago I chose the D language for an architectural idea. Arinas grew out of it, and I presented it at the DConf conference in London in August 2025.
Today I work on my own. In the past I delivered larger projects with my own team, which I led. We can talk in Slovak, Czech, English, German and, to some extent, French.
